Fitting Guide

Wet Method:

  1. Surface Cleaning: Ensure the area is clean and free of dirt or grease.
  2. Soapy Water Solution: Spray a mixture of water and a little soap (like dishwashing liquid) on the surface. This prevents air bubbles and allows for easy positioning.
  3. Positioning the Decal: Carefully align the decal in the desired position.
  4. Adjustments: The soapy layer allows you to move the decal until it's perfectly aligned.
  5. Removing Excess Water: Use a plastic squeegee or a credit card to push out any excess water and air bubbles, always working from the center to the edges.
  6. Drying: Allow the decal to dry completely before removing any protective layer. Depending on the environment, this might take a few hours.

Dry Method:

  1. Surface Preparation: Similar to the wet method, make sure the surface is clean and free of debris.
  2. Preliminary Alignment: Use masking tape to secure one edge of the decal lightly to mark its position.
  3. Gradual Application: Peel back the backing paper and carefully adhere the decal, pressing it down gradually with a squeegee to prevent bubbles.
  4. Even Pressure: Apply consistent pressure to ensure the decal sticks properly.
  5. Final Touches: Remove any additional protective layers and check for bubbles.

General Tips for Both Methods:

  • Work in a dust-free area, avoiding extreme heat or windy conditions.
  • Refrain from washing the decorated vehicle or object vigorously for at least two weeks after applying the decal.
